Cuts Contract / Agreement Pickup: I understand that when my dog is ready for collection, R.U.F.F. Cuts will phone me unless a time was already arranged at drop off. If my dog is not picked up by the specified closing hours, I agree that I will be charged a late fee, payable on top of the cost of the groom carried out. This fee is determined by how late my dog is picked up and are listed here: (Mondays & Wednesdays) $5Fee 4:00pm-4:30pm, $15Fee 4:31pm-5:00pm, $20Fee 5:01pm-5:30pm, $25Fee 5:31pm-6:00pm. (Tuesdays and Thursdays) $5Fee 6:00pm-6:30pm, $15Fee 6:31pm-7:00pm, $20Fee 7:01pm-7:30pm, $25Fee 7:31pm-8:00pm. If I do not contact R.U.F.F. Cuts and do not pick up my dog by 2 hours past closing time, the dog is considered abandoned and will be brought to the dog kennel (unless in extreme circumstances and agreed by R.U.F.F. Cuts). Mat Removal: I agree to allow R.U.F.F. Cuts to shave my dog if it is deemed to be matted to an extent that brushing the mats would cause pain and suffering to the dog. Whether a dog is “matted” is at the sole discrimination of R.U.F.F. Cuts. I will be informed of the procedure if it needs to be carried out and understand additional charges will apply due to extra time needed. I agree R.U.F.F. Cuts shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of the dematting process and problems uncovered on a matted or otherwise neglected coat. These include, but are not limited to: itchiness, redness, or self-inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive external rubbing.
Drop Off: I understand that my dog must be dropped off at the specific appointment time I scheduled for. I understand that if I am more than 10 minutes late, I will charged a late fee of $5.00 and it may take longer for my dog to be groomed. If I am more than 15 minutes late, I understand that Ruff cuts may deny my appointment due to lack of time and I will be charged a fee of $10.00 payable on next appointment. No-Shows and Cancellations: Should I have to cancel my dogs appointment, I agree to notify R.U.F.F. Cuts within 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or sooner. I agree that if I cancel my appointment with less than a 24 hour notice I will be charged a $15 cancellation fee, payable on next appointment. I agree that if I do not attend my scheduled appointment I will be charged 50% of the groom cost as a “no show” fee, payable on next appointment. I agree if I am a “no show” twice within a 12 month period, I will have to reserve all future appointments with a 50% deposit, payable when scheduling the appointment. Returned Check Policy: I understand that checks returned due to insufficient funds are charged a $30.00 Service Fee on top of the groom cost to pay for bank fees, payable within 1-2 business days after the check is returned. If this happens 2 times, I understand that all future appointments must be made in cash at the time of drop off. Veterinarian Care: R.U.F.F. Cuts has my permission to bring my dog to the vet if they determine emergency care is warranted, I agree to pay all associated fees and costs. If my veterinarian is not readily accessible R.U.F.F. Cuts is authorized to use a veterinarian of their choice. Should veterinarian care be necessary as a result of any services by R.U.F.F. Cuts, I agree to notify R.U.F.F. Cuts within 48 hours of such care. Reimbursement for such care will be at the sole discretion of R.U.F.F Cuts and unless it can be clearly shown that R.U.F.F. Cuts is liable, all costs will be at my expense. I agree that I have trained my dog to the best of my ability to reduce the risk of bad behavior and understand that that R.U.F.F. Cuts is not liable for any injuries that can occur from erratic behavior. These include, but are not limited to: Dog jumping off table, erratic movements, or jumping out of the tub. Previous Conditions Uncovered: R.U.F.F. Cuts is not responsible for any conditions or problems discovered during grooming. I understand R.U.F.F. Cuts will inform me of anything found so that I am able to take appropriate action. Photos: I give R.U.F.F. Cuts permission to take photos of my dog during the grooming process. The photos may be posted on Facebook and might be used in promotional materials. Payment: I agree to pay all costs for the grooming of my dog including, but not limited to: dematting charges or fees due to late drop off/pick up as well as missed appointment fees. I understand that if I do not have payment at the time of checkout, I will be charged a $10 fee plus an extra $5.00 each business day if not paid within the next business day. Hold Harmless Agreement: By signing this contract you agree not to hold R.U.F.F. Cuts its owner and/or employees, from any damage, loss, or claim, arising from any condition of the undersigned pet(s), either known or unknown to R.U.F.F. Cuts. It is further understood this clause applies to any and all pets groomed.
Flea Free Policy
Due to the safety of others, flea infestation will NOT be tolerated. The client is responsible for keeping their pet(s) flea free as well as checking their pup for fleas before the appointment. If a flea or tick is found on a dog, Ruff Cuts must stop the grooming process and the dog must be picked up right away. All pups will be sent home as we will have to bleach everything as soon as possible to avoid an infestation.
You have read and understand that if your dog is found with fleas present, that we will need to shut down and a Flea fee of $100.00 must be paid at pickup.
